Color/Trim Designer

Position Description:
From fabric design to image boards to interior textures and all-over vehicle color, you will play a hands-on role in creating color and trim proposals for both concept and production vehicles. As part of our color/trim design group, you'll develop complex design solutions for both concept and production of Honda and Acura vehicles. This will include:
- Addressing production feasibility and manufacturing considerations
- Creating color and trim proposals that include fabric design proposals, image boards, color and texture, exterior paint colors and more
- Interacting with designers and engineers on cross-functional teams
- Handling color tuning
- Interfacing with supplier interface
- Performing market research

Position Requirements:
Keys to success in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- 2+ years of related experience
- Strong design background
- Proven planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas in 2D
- Keen awareness of color, style and trends
