In Industrial Design with focus on Transportation Design

We seek an industrial designer for a full-time permanent position to begin August 2008. The successful candidate will take part in instruction and support the director of the Transportation Design Program. Responsibilities include maintaining contacts with external lecturers and partners, tutoring students, developing projects and working with certain theoretical sections of the course. You should also be interested in participation in research and development work.

Desired qualifications include a Master's degree in Transportation Design or its equivalent.

Experience in the following areas is required:
- Managing and steering teams within a design environment.
- Program planning.
- Communication with external partners and companies.
- Good English Language skills.
- Good knowledge of Digital design tools and other software.

Also of value:
Working as an Industrial designer in the transportation field an advantage.
Completed courses related to design education and participation in research projects are seen as additional merits. In accordance with chapter 4, paragraph 9 of the Higher Education Act, qualification for employment as an assistant lecturer includes an undergraduate degree or its equivalent, completion of university level education training, or in some other way gained equivalent expertise and proven educational skills.
