Senior Lecturer in Automotive and Transport Design

£31,299 - £40,200 pro rata per annum, full-time/job share

Founded in 1843, the School of Art and Design has a long established reputation for excellence that is constantly reaffirmed in the everyday activities of this vibrant part of Coventry University.

We have a strong tradition in Transport and Product Design and Centre of Excellence status supported by a strong portfolio of applied research activity. We have invested heavily in advanced facilities and continue to promote conventional drawing and modelling as cornerstones of design education. We now have a new post available in Automotive and Transport Design. You will contribute to teaching and curriculum development, modelling and CAD and also engage actively in applied research and income generation. Along with a degree in a relevant design discipline, you must have sound practical or educational experience of design drawing, modelling and CAD in automotive or transport design contexts. You will need good organisational and administrative ability, an enthusiastic flexible approach to work and excellent interpersonal skills.
