Assist the management to stimulate, promote and execute a low cost development strategy and guide all functions to produce cost-reduction measures.
Job Description:
- Assist the management to stimulate, promote and execute a low cost development strategy.
- Guide all functions to stimulate low cost measures and support on execution.
- Bring the low cost concept to the whole vehicle development process and help to build a low cost culture.
- Guide and work with local engineers on low cost vehicle development programs, participating in different areas of development processes:
(can be 5 different positions)
1) Low cost product advanced architecture design
2) Low cost vehicle level solution & performance balance
3) Low cost product engineering design & release (Body, Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Electrical)
4) Low cost vehicle test & validation process & execution
5) Low cost product quality control
Qualification:
- 8 years or above experience in engineering design, vehicle integration or test & validation area.
- Profound knowledge and expertise in low cost product development & management.
- Retired within 3-5 years from top engineering or management positions (such as chief engineer, functional director, vehicle line executives, etc) with a Japanese Automaker.

Assist Advanced Architecture Design Senior Manager to lead the design team to study design trends, competitor benchmarks, potential customer needs and so create a design strategy. Develop vehicle architecture and body style proportion as well as control the design quality and engineering communication.

- Assist Advanced Architecture Design Senior Manager to lead the design team to study design trends, competitor benchmarks, potential customer needs and so create a design strategy.
- Assist Advanced Architecture Design Senior Manager to lead the design team in developing the architecture, body style proportion as well as controlling the design quality and engineering communication.
- Lead the team to work on design sketching, rendering, tape drawing, scale modeling, full size modeling and technical data, while controlling the deliverable quality.
- Advise the advanced design team in architecture design-related skills and technology. Assist the design team to improve design competencies, design vision and creativity.
Qualification:
8 years or above experience of overseas car design studio (advanced design or vehicle architecture design)

- Advise on rendering, tape drawing, scale modeling, full size modeling, concept technical data and released technical data.
- Help the design team to develop its design competencies and design vision creativity.
Qualification:
7 years or above experience of overseas car design studio (advanced concept design, advanced strategy study, program lead experience).
