The successful candidate will be flexible towards travel as 1 week in 4 could be spent in our clients Indian Studio as well as a requirement to travel to other destinations as and when needed. You will possess at least 5 years automotive experience.

Selection Criteria:

• Degree qualified in either, product, industrial or automotive design.
• Strong numeracy and literacy.
• A minimum of five years automotive design experience is essential.
• Demonstrate depth of knowledge in a relevant technical expertise.

• Excellent 2D Digital Presentation Skills (Photoshop, Painter,Sketchbook pro, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of 3D software such as (ICEM, ALIAS, RHINOS) is a plus but not essential.
• Experience of production and show car design projects, from initial sketches through all the development stages until the product launch.

Main Activities/ Tasks:

• To lead the design development of interiors of the future and lead the development of the Interior design team.
• Presenting future design concepts to CEO and senior

management team using state of the art presentation techniques.
• 2-D Sketch development. You will communicate your designs with

hand-drawn sketches and digital renderings.
• 3-D Concept development in Alias. Guiding the digital modelling

team in the development of your design project.
• Scale and full size model development. Guiding the physical

modelling team in the development of your design project. Clay and Hard models.

• Work with CAD based surface development team in the refinement of your design themes.
• Show car development including model build and assembly.
•Support Colour and Trim design activities to ensure C&T themes are considered and integrated into the interior design process.

Detail Designer/Engineer - Germany.

Are you an experienced Catia V5 Design Engineer? Our client is looking for motivated detail designers to join a project at one of their leading automotive design studios in Germany. You must have a minimum 1000 hours Catia V5 experience. Previous automotive and plastics design experience is a must, and knowledge of Teamcenter would be beneficial. Interior experience in one of the following areas would be ideal, but there are other projects available so please contact us:

Load Compartment/Trunk
Acoustics/Floor Trim/Carpets
Pillar Trim/Headliner

The project language is English, but knowledge of German would be a bonus. It is important that you are interested in this project, as our client rates enthusiasm and motivation very highly.

The project is on a contract basis, with a minimum of 1000 hours, normally at a minimum of 40 hours a week, although overtime may be possible. The rate will be negotiable, but will be agreed with you before accepting the vacancy.

Alias Modellers, Various UK & Europe

We are looking for Alias modelers capable of carrying out a spectrum of work - sketch modelling through to Class "A" surfacing. Ability to visualize in Showcase & Bunkspeed is a bonus.

• Must have high levels of motivation and enthusiasm, good team skills.
• Minimum 2 years professional modeling experience is preferred.
• Excellent Autodesk Alias skills (concept to Class A)
• High level of technical knowledge and good surface vision.
