Exterior Designers

A UK-based, prestigious and luxury vehicle brand requires experienced Exterior Designers to join their Design organization. This OEM is undergoing an ambitious expansion of its brand and product portfolio and needs designers who can meet that challenge.

The Design Team are particularly interested in designers with experience, knowledge in the realization and execution of design and ensuring that products are delivered to market in line with Design's high level expectations. As such, candidates must display excellent levels of aesthetic judgement and surface development skills. You must be able to guide and control products as they continue through the feasibility and production processes.

Proven professional standard creative visualization skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely and efficiently with cross-functional development teams.

Candidates should have 5+ years automotive design experience, ideally within OEM studios and preferably with exposure to multiple production programmes.

Studio experience

Previous experience of working on a production program

Good creative design skills are and must

Have the ability/history of working with development teams

CAD/Alias skills would be beneficial

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and creative designer, to further your career.

 

Chief Modeler – Midlands

You are required to have a minimum of 8 years modeling experience. You will be responsible for a small team supporting exterior and interior models.  This role reports to the Design Manager. It is initially a contractual role, which could lead to permanent.

 

Digital Manager – North West

Experience of heading up a small Alias team is essential. You will be responsible for digital models and data support design models. This role reports to the Design Manager. It is initially a contractual role, which could lead to permanent.

 

Project Managers – North West

A prestigious car manufacture is looking for two Project Managers. This is initially a 12 month contract, but would continue beyond this as it is an on-going requirement within the business.

The Project Managers would be reporting to a Senior Project Manager, who reports to the Design Director.  There is administration support provided.

The main purpose of the role is to be the interface between Design and Engineering. It is essential you have an Engineering background and experience of working in a Design Studio environment.
