Dilip Chhabria is a leading automobile designer, an alumnus of Art Center; he is an icon amongst the designers from India. For Automotive Design program we are looking for expertise in the area of Automotive Design Studios (Interior + Exterior), Drawing, Sketching, Illustration, Rendering, Vehicle Packaging & Architecture, Automotive Ergonomics & User interfaces, etc.

Teaching at DYPDC means working on live, immediate and highly relevant design problems. The candidate has to be driven to develop cutting-edge content and to establish a leadership role in the field. The candidate will possess classic automobile design or industrial design competency as well as the ability to contribute to a progressive platform of reinventing transportation in response to present century challenges.
Specific Skills
Candidates should demonstrate potential for scholarly activity through research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidate should have a body of creative work that may include show cars, production, construction, and/or publications.
A thorough understanding of research and design methods; creativity and flair; strong project management skills; excellent communication skills; and a passion for inspiring and teaching are needed attributes.
Candidates should possess a minimum bachelor's level qualification in Product Design / Automobile Design or equivalent. Experience should be commensurate with the position applied. Experience could be professional design experience and / or university-level teaching experience.
Teaching experience is desirable, but not necessary.
