Position Description:
To you, a car isn’t just a machine, it’s a blank canvas that you can’t wait to paint. Now we’d like to offer you the chance to paint some of the most innovative canvases in the world - the Honda line of vehicles.
From fabric design to image boards to interior textures and all-over vehicle color, you will play a hands-on role in creating color and trim proposals for both concept and production vehicles. This will include:
- Interacting with designers and engineers on cross-functional teams
- Bringing your ideas from concept through to mass production
- Fine-tuning colors
- Interfacing with suppliers and vendors
- Performing market research
Successful candidates will have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience
- Strong design, planning and organizational skills
- Talent for communicating ideas in 2D and 3D
- Demonstrated passion for color, style and trends
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed
