The contest closed for entries on Wednesday 26th, and the initial judging session took place over the following two days. Hundreds of entries were reduced to 10 professional designer and 10 student designer entries who have now been notified. 

Entrants to the contest who have not been chosen as finalist have now been notified - this was not possible to do earlier as Car Design News was waiting to receive confirmation from finalists.
