SPD starts collaboration with VW Group Design on Masters program

Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) and Volkswagen Group Design are starting a new five year collaboration program focused on the development of experimental mobility projects for Lamborghini, Audi and Volkswagen.

VW Group Design Director Walter de'Silva admires a student's work

The Milan, Italy-based university is offering eight scholarships to participate to the one year Master Program in Car and Transportation Design, which will take place from 21 October 2010 to October 2011. The university is currently accepting applications from students and professionals from all over the world, with the aim of providing training with the protagonists of automotive design.

Program participants will develop new concepts of car under the guidance of SPD lecturers with the supervision of Volkswagen Group design director Walter De' Silva and his staff. The Master's program also features lectures with leading figures in car design and guided tours of design centers, museums and exhibitions. All courses are taught in English

Participation is open to candidates who have a degree from schools/universities of design or to people with significant experience and skills in car design. Those interested in taking part to the selection have to send their CV and portfolio by e-mail to: info@scuoladesign.com
