What is RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you use regularly. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to get them to tell you every time they have something new that matches your interests. You can use an news reader program to group all your favorite news sources or topics together for a convenient overview of what's new on all your favorite websites or topics.

How do I use RSS?
You can use an online RSS service such as Newsgator, or a program called a News Reader. This displays RSS feeds from your chosen websites on your computer, enabling you to track updates on many sites easily. There are a range of different News Readers available:

Windows:
Newsgator

Feed Demon
Awasu

Mac OS X:
NetNewsWire
Newsfire
Safari 2 (Browser-integrated)
