Chanel Fiole
Jin Young Jo

Designed as the fictional official vehicle of the Chanel fashion show, the Fiole takes inspiration from the French fashion brand's trademark contrasting black and white theme. Further inspiration was derived from Art Deco design and futuristic architecture, while keywords in the development of the concept included layered, luxury and feminine. With convex and concave surfacing, the vehicle's form not only expresses the flow of air but also optimizes aerodynamics.

Saab 9-Griffin
Joon Hyung Park

The design of this sinister-looking concept sought to answer the question: 'How to emphasize a driver-oriented sedan?' The answer came in the form of the four-seat Saab 9 Griffin, which was developed to provide users with a dynamic driving experience akin to that of a single-seat roadster. The asymmetrical body design facilitates outward visibility and accentuates space within the driver-orientated interior.

Rosebud
Jung Won Shin

Created primarily for female users, the Rosebud concept was designed to enhance comfort and provide a safe driving environment through its form. The exterior side line shape was inspired by the flower after which it is named, while the interior is divided into two areas: a human area up front and a mechanical space at the rear.

Cadillac concept
Jun Pil Moon

Inspired by Cadillac designs of the 1950s and ‘60s, this automated vehicle concept features strong character lines and sharp rectangular front end that propels the American brand's identity into the year 2020. The exterior design is characterized by an angular front end juxtaposed by a smooth, rounded rear end treatment. Between these two contrasting elements is an expansive sphere-shaped cabin, which provides a comfortable sleeping space for passengers.

Audi ASQ
Ju Young Kim

According to creator Ju Young Kim, the conventional sedan typology will be altered in 2040 due to the acceleration of global warming. Like the ASQ, the three-box, four-door sedan will need amphibious capabilities that enable it to travel over, and even below, a variety of surfaces. Powered by electric hydroxide motors mounted within the wheels when on land, and water jets when on or below the water's surface, the concept features a transparent, tempered glass floor that enables passengers to see beneath the three-seat cabin.

Mercedes-Benz Rising Submarine
Ki Euk Kim

The Rising Submarine project is another amphibious vehicle, though in this case inspired specifically by the German ‘U-Boat' submarines of World War 1 and 2. The concept's main structure is reminiscent of recent submarine designs (complete with rivets), and includes a teardrop-shaped character line that creates the impression that the craft is rising from below the water's surface.

Honda Zeppelin
Myung Jin Jung

The 2030 Honda Zeppelin concept's ‘High-tech Dynamic' design was inspired by an airship. By applying aerodynamic forms and soft volumes, the feeling of mass has been removed and the distinct Honda aesthetic exemplified. The interior, also inspired by an airship, is reminiscent of a cozy salon or first-class airplane cabin. An on-screen display enables greater design freedom, allowing the narrow windscreen and asymmetric DLO to become integral exterior design elements without restricting outward visibility.

Citroën C7
Seo Jun

Intended as a concept for the 2010 Paris auto show, the Citroën C7 is a dynamic four-door sedan that - at nearly 5m long and slightly less than 2m wide - is considerably larger than any other model in the brand's current portfolio. The sharply rising shoulder line, blunt face and glass canopy define the exterior, while the four-seat interior features a rearward-facing passenger seat to facilitate dialogue between passengers.

Alfa Romeo Berlina Da Corsa
Seong Jun Ko

The Berlina Da Corsa combines the strong external character of a racing car with the internal passenger space of a road-going sedan. Inspired by Alfa Romeo's illustrious racing heritage, it borrows heavily from models such as the GT 1300 Junior and 1750 GTV from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Electrical current and 'stretchable metal' allow its low-slung proportions to morph into a practical yet sporty sedan as its roofline rises, enhancing rear passenger space in the process.

Citroën C Interior
Ye Jin Song

This interior concept utilizes organic forms and acoustics to push Citroën's design direction to the next level. The fluid forms are represented separately within the space, with the full-width center console providing a visual connection between the different zones. The flowing IP design and seats revolve around a central wave theme that allows passengers to experience different sensations when in motion.

Ford Meteor
Young Jun Kim

The 2028 Meteor 'Hy Performance Sedan' is inspired by Ford's future dream car of the 1950s, and measures 5140mm long and 1480mm tall. Its exterior design aesthetic is separated into two distinctly different sections: a driver-oriented space up front and an area for passengers at the rear. Gull-wing-style doors front and rear provide access to the cabin and rear luggage compartment.

Audi AR-1
Young Moo Kim

The AR-1 concept proposes a German sedan for the year 2015. The typical Audi grille has been reinterpreted in a modern way, but the profile exhibits a Bauhaus aesthetic long since superseded at the Ingolstadt automaker. The vehicle's key-line was inspired by the shape of a knot, while the exposed lower surface at the rear of the vehicle is reminiscent of the Ondelios concept shown by Renault at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
