PT220609 concept
Giuseppe Andrè Beisans, Rahul Das and Dario Tomorad
The PT220609 concept is the result of searching deep into Aston Martin's heritage and extracting what created the first spark, the passion for motor sports. The concept's design is influenced by aerodynamics, which allows air to pass through the nose of the vehicle flowing through the exterior and the interior panels to supply the driver, the engine and all other essential mechanical parts with air, while simultaneously creating downforce. The vehicle's aesthetic is characterized by the simplicity and purity found in product design, giving it timeless elegance.
Vestige concept
Marco Carmelo Bernardi, Stefano Fincato, and Matteo Magrini
The Vestige project took inspiration from the noble Egyptian origins of Aston Martin's logo, representing the scarab's wings - taken from the god of creation, Khepri - and identified with the insect. The car's name also originates from this ancient inspiration. It is a symbol of something that is still proving the greatness of a culture that inspired S.C.H. Davis to design the winged logo in 1932, from his love for Egyptian art.
The car can transform from a one to three-seat vehicle depending on the driver's needs. In sport mode it is an extreme sport car, that hugs only the driver, using all the power that four electric engines and a supercharged Wankel can provide. In GT mode the vehicle transforms to become a three-seat fully electric car that is both comfortable and silent, with no emissions or pollution.
Sattva concept
Miguel Angel Martinez Gallego, Paolo Trefolello and Enrico Vettorato
According to this concept's designers, men are not satisfied with surfaces. Instead, they desire a deeper understanding of every aspect of life, the world and the relationships within them. The act of seeking is also finding. The senses are what link man to the world and the body is the medium to experience this world. The Sattva concept allows users to be wrapped into a ‘second skin' - to observe and be observed - and be in harmony with themselves, the users are also in harmony with their surroundings. The vehicle becomes not only a means of transportation, but of also of communication.
Elate concept
Vladislav Domanin, Antonio Lafata, Chandra Prasad Nallur and Luigi Tarantino
The Elate concept was created keeping in mind the need to integrate human feelings with the user's surroundings while still keeping the exclusivity, elegance and dynamism that are the core values of Aston Martin brand. The exterior design of the three-seat, front-engined hybrid car draws inspiration from flower, thus preserving the essence of purity and realism. The interior, meanwhile, has been designed to instill a varied ambience while communicating a specific emotion both for the passenger and the driver.
