Thankfully for the world of car design, he was inspired by 007’s passion for cars and followed this thread into a career in automotive design. While Bond’s car of choice has become associated with Aston Martin following the brand’s presence in the film franchise, the books tell a different story. Ian Fleming described a large two-seater convertible Bentley dubbed ‘The Locomotive’. Despite Fleming’s in-depth depiction, Bond’s Bentley was merely a subject of the reader’s imagination.
