Meriem Dussart: Whether it’s a gradient tint, a sculpture or texture, or colours that shift under different views, glass tells a story. Designers who work with us have discovered that glass is not only to enclose the vehicle, it’s about defining its unique personality. It’s how to imagine new expressions.

What is the reason why we have partnered with CDN? It’s because the positioning of Sekurit is changing. We want to have contact with designers and I think it’s a perfect occasion to meet them and to discuss with them about the future of the mobility.

Kevin Zhang: The automotive industry is going through a deep transformation. Within this transformation, we see that glass is no longer just a structural component, it’s an interface. It’s a canvas of expression: with lighting, display, color, shapes, there’s a lot of possibilities.

As Sekurit, we position ourselves as the enabler of this shift. We help OEMs to get the best and the biggest [gains] out of this shift. As to dynamic Chinese market needs, we don’t apply the one-size-fits-all vision. We have a local team deeply embedded in the local ecosystem. We create new concepts and new ideas together with OEMs in a fast manner.

With that, the outcome and insights generated from these activities actually become part of our strategy formulation process. And we can proudly say that we are very connected with our global strategy and local needs.
