Shawmut is a 116-year old textile and lamination supplier and we're most known for our headliners, pillars and overhead advanced composite development. But we've moved far beyond that.

Now we integrate lamination, dyeing, finishing and textile under one roof and we are creating the most amazing textiles for the full environment. From headliners of course, to the IP, door inserts and seating. We're pulling it all together and creating these amazing harmonious combinations of textile for the full environment.

And the thing is, we take pride in a truly sustainable product where we're offering 100% recycled content, but we are bringing out some very interesting products that are also recycled textile.
So we're very interested in doing everything we can.

We have a collection we've developed called Aperture and it looks at the auto interior through three different lenses, three modes of living. One is more based on exploration, more washable and sustainable materials that are ready for any indoor outdoor environment in a vehicle.

Our second group in this collection is called Restore and it is about dyeing our fabrics and beautiful rich jewel tones, which show the designers we work with how far we can go in colour — and it's so much fun to support the designers in their explorations of colour. We do this with our 100% recycled content suede called Neolux.

We have a third grouping in this collection — Protect — where we're using a lot of interesting coatings and again, reaching back to Shamat's cross-functional portfolio of really cool fabrics from medical, military, footwear and more, just trying to bring that into the interior.

We have so much in our files to help designers from the beginning to create their vision, work with them hand in hand and just do as many interesting things as we can with the full interior.
