Bentley unveils new wings

New emblems can cause quite the controversy in the car design world, but dare we say that Bentley has done a cracking job.
As only the fifth iteration in Bentley’s 106-year history, the new ‘Winged B’ is a natural evolution of the original design (created by F. Gordon Crosby in 1919). The wings are sharper and more angular compared to the previous softer silhouette. The lower feathers underneath have been removed for a clean shape
The central B has also been redesigned so it can be used as a graphic without the wings – with a bevelled glass edge and chamfered metal surround, taking inspiration from luxury watch design.

Grounded debuts an electric RV
The Detroit based start-up founded by former SpaceX engineers has unveiled the G3 camper van.
The RV is built on the all-electric General Motors BrightDrop platform with a promised 286-mile combined range on a single charge.
Inside, cabinetry through is constructed entirely without wood – instead using industrial-grade aluminium framing concealed behind paneling made of recycled materials. The king-size bed can be lifted up or down via button controls.
“The G3 is a next-gen offering for travellers who want to live, work, and roam in comfort, grounded in what matters,” said Grounded CEO Sam Shapiro.
The G3 will be delivered in July 2025

Hyundai Motor Group opens UX Studio Seoul
Aiming to engage customers in designing future mobility experiences, UX Studio Seoul will integrate user insights directly into vehicle design and development.
Visitors can test UX concepts using VR, join research programs and explore software-defined vehicle architecture in the Open Lab.
Hyundai is operating its global UX Studios in cities around the world – including Shanghai, Frankfurt and Irvine, CA.

Mazda teases first look at CX-5 SUV
Ahead of the official launch on July 10, Mazda has released a few teaser images of the next-gen CX-5 SUV.
The new SUV appears to have a sharp design that isn’t too far away from the current model. The lighting signatures are thin and curved – with the rear sporting a spoiler, giving the vehicle a sportier stance.

Mini releases sporty accessory pack
As part of the latest generation of Mini John Cooper Works Accessory Parts, the new exterior accessories pack include four alloy wheel options, three JCW winglets, mirror caps and a JCW rear diffuser.
These new additions promise to add a more “aggressive and sporty aesthetic … to elevate their Mini into a true race car for the road”.
