Chrysler explores adventure aesthetics with Pacifica concept

Chrysler has revealed the Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept, a design study that adapts the people carrier for the growing van-life and overlanding communities
Developed by Chrysler’s design studio, the concept builds on the Pacifica’s versatility with a more rugged visual language. The exterior adopts an Arktos matte finish with Foreshadow accents, while a raised stance, 2.75 inches at the front and 2.5 inches at the rear, combined with 31-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tyres and 18-inch Foreshadow wheels, creates an off-road-capable setup. Functional elements such as the Rhino-Rack Pioneer roof platform, Tyri LED lighting and ARB retractable awning emphasise utility, while lower-body protection and Mopar splash guards add durability.
Inside, designers focused on adaptability. The third-row seating has been replaced with a flat cargo floor panel, enabling the cabin to transition from storage to sleeping space. A colour palette of Cement Grey with Liquid Titanium accents, orange seatbelts and Katzkin leather seating surfaces reflects an outdoor-oriented theme.
The sport steering wheel, detailed with dimple perforation and paddle shifters, introduces a performance cue, while Mopar accessories, stackable totes, all-weather mats and integrated power outlets, highlight functional design considerations.
The concept coincides with Chrysler’s 100th anniversary, with future products, including a refreshed Pacifica in 2026, pointing to continued work on lifestyle-focused design directions.
