Car Design News looks at news that may have gone under the radar, including the latest updates from Hyundai, Vauxhall, Mercedes-Benz and people moves

Hyundai Tucson

This new SUV is shaped around Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ design philosophy, which translates to a muscular exterior with an organised interior.

The exterior design consists of strong fenders, restrained door surfaces and crisp bodylines. A new lighting signature combines indirect central illumination with edge lighting to emphasise the vehicle’s width.

Inside, furniture inspired comfort is evident, with soft cushioning applied across the top of the instrument panel, doors and console armrest.

New Vauxhall Griffin emblem

Vauxhall’s refreshed logo introduces a more angular design for the Griffin and removes the flag for the first time. This is in alignment with the brand’s ‘Bold and Pure’ design language for its next generation of vehicles.

This new emblem will debut at the Paris Motor Show on the Vauxhall STX concept.
