Kia unveils Concept EV2
Kia has previewed its smallest Kia EV yet – the Concept EV2
Kia unveiled the EV4 and Concept EV2 models at the Kia EV Day 2025, completing the brand’s core EV lineup.
The Concept EV2 is a B-segment electric SUV that previews an upcoming production model aimed at lifestyle-driven buyers who live in urban spaces.
There’s an unmistakable geometic feel to the Concept EV2, with the boxy design of the glass area and wheel arches.

The rest of the exterior appears clean and consistent with the rest of Kia’s EV line with vertical DRLs, rugged bumpers, a dynamic shoulder line and Star Map signature lighting.
Lighting continues to be a strength of the Concept EV2 inside the vehicle, with diagonal LED lighting on the front door cards as well as further triangular-pattern lighting and an LED dashboard animation.
The dashboard also features a striking metal surface and triangular design, which incorporates a wireless charger and power outlet.

Despite the small size of the Concept EV2, this vehicle features similar multi-functional spaces to a much larger car. The second row of seats folds up, allowing the front seats to slide back as far as possible – meaning users can stretch their legs or even sit on the flat floor. Neat.
Loaded with technology, the Concept EV2 features ‘message lighting’ which allows occupants to display text messages through the windows to communicate with other road users and pedestrians. Continental has explored a similar projection system that allows content to be streamed onto windows through a mini projector.
Triangular speakers are mounted in the door trims and are removable and portable.
The Kia EV2 is expected to launch in Europe and other regions in 2026.
