Volkswagen ID.3 Neo

The successor to the ID.3, the ID.3 Neo, has been unveiled. This model has a new front-end design based on VW’s ‘Pure Positive’ design language defined by chief designer Andreas Mindt and a refreshed lighting signature via the continuous light strip and illuminated logo.

The interior has also been redesigned, featuring clear horizontal lines that guide the eye around the cabin. Physical buttons and controllers have been implemented for key functions, and the steering wheel now has a flattened rim at the top and bottom. The refreshed infotainment system is made up of a 10.25-inch digital cockpit and 12.9-inch central display.

Mini X Vagabund

This collaboration sees a meeting of adventure and sound, with Mini teaming up with Vagabund, an Austrian design studio, to present two Mini Countryman editions.

The rear windows have been removed and replaced by a sound system designed for outdoor sound projection. This system includes a newly developed loudspeaker housing made from cast polymer granite, known for its precise sound reproduction. Tweeters and mid-range speakers are integrated directly into the bodywork, and additional subwoofers have been placed on the rear. A Walkman is integrated in a 3D printed housing on the side of the vehicle, as a special detail.

While each vehicle functions as a separate sound system, they can pair together to create an immersive audio experience.

Paul Brauchart, co-founder and head of creative at Vagabund explains: “For us, design does not begin with the object, but with the idea behind it – and it only ends when that idea becomes tangible. The Mini x Vagabund one-offs translate a clear concept into an experiential statement. Two distinctive characters, united by MINI Countryman DNA, create a composition full of tension – making design visible as an emotional experience.”

Both vehicles will be presented to the public at Auto China 2026 in Beijing.

Nissan Juke

The third generation of the Nissan Juke has been revealed in the form of an origami-inspired electric compact crossover. This geometric surfacing was initially previewed on the Nissan’s Hyper Punk concept in 2023.

The first images released show a striking two-toned exterior made up of lime green and black, with sharp cut lines following through from the body to the front lighting signature to the wheel design.

Clíodhna Lyons, region vice president, product, brand & marketing strategy, Nissan AMIEO said: "Juke has always stood for bold design and a willingness to challenge convention. With this third generation, we are bringing that spirit into the electric age."

The vehicle will be launched in Spring 2027.
