It is with great sadness that we report that our longstanding contributing editor and friend Guy Bird has passed away suddenly.
A brilliant and insightful writer with a sophisticated sensibility, Guy was the benchmark when it came to automotive design journalism. He will be deeply missed by all of us at Car Design News and the industry at large.
A full tribute to Guy will follow but for now our thoughts are with his wife Jaqueline and two daughters Alex and Carmen.
