Schools go free
CDN launches free subscription for design schools

The next generation of design talent can now access Car Design News' full spread of news, analysis and events free of charge
For the first time ever, Car Design News will open its doors to design schools.
Students now have full access to the latest design development news and features, exclusive interviews, in-depth trend and motor show reports, and indeed coverage of student degree shows from around the world.
The move aligns with our key pillars of inspiration, education and connection within the car design community. Alongside their academic studies, students should have access to all resources that can accelerate their career in design. The initiative is active immediately.
"At Car Design News, we believe the next generation of talent is vital to the future of our industry. That’s why we are making subscriptions free for students — to ensure that aspiring car designers have access to the same insights, resources, and inspiration as professionals already working in the field," comments James McLachlan, editor-in-chief at Car Design News.
"By opening up our archive of interviews, trend reports and case studies, we hope to nurture creativity, provide guidance, and help students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. This initiative is about supporting the journey from education to industry, giving tomorrow’s designers the tools to thrive."
In addition, schools will benefit from discounted rates for Interior Motives magazine and the annual Car Design Review coffee table book, plus access to certain exclusive CDN events.
