Moray Callum

Moray Callum leads the design of all concept and production vehicles for the Ford and Lincoln brands globally. Callum joined Ford in 1995. His successes include the Ford Fusion, Explorer, 5th -generation Mustang, 2000 Ford Taurus and Ford Super Duty pickups. His international design career started in 1982 when he began working for Chrysler Corporation, UK and PSA Peugeot Citroën on passenger and commercial vehicles. In 1988, he joined Ghia SpA as a consultant designer, where his work included the reveal of the Ford Ghia Via concept vehicle in 1989.

Amko Leenarts

Ford of Europe
Amko Leenarts is responsible for the exterior and interior design of vehicles developed by Ford of Europe. This includes small cars, crossover utility vehicles and models for global markets. Leenarts leads a team of more than 275 Ford employees at Ford Design Studios in Merkenich, Germany, and at the company’s Dunton Technical Centre in Essex, U.K.

Joel Piaskowski oversees the design and DNA development of all new cars and crossovers worldwide. He joined Ford in 2010 as Director, Exterior Design, The Americas where he led the exterior designs of the 2015 F150, Mustang and Edge. Prior to joining Ford, he held design leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai in their respective California design studios.

Kemal Curic

Kemal Curic is responsible for leading the long-term vision of the luxury brand. With Lincoln now riding a wave of product momentum, Curic said he wants to continue to create things that are truly amazing. “We’re in such a unique place now,” he said. “We have the perfect opportunity to do that.”

Maxine has been with CDN since 2015 and was appointed editor in early 2019.
She has worked in publishing for more than 24 years, starting on newspapers and motorbike magazines, through editing customer magazines and trade titles to digital publishing. She has freelanced extensively as a both a writer and editor on automotive subjects and now writes exclusively for Car Design News and manages the production of CDN special publications such as the Polestar magazine and the annual Car Design Review book. Maxine lives in Somerset and works in London. Her first car was a 1971 BMW 2002 and her attraction to elderly BMWs continues (although she now also has a soft spot for mid 90s Japanese executive saloons too).
