Watch the recording to discover who has won this year’s prestigious awards.

These awards are most meaningful because, rather than journalists or industry organisations judging the cars, we ask the most senior members of the automotive design industry to assess the work.

During the Livestream we also revealed our Lifetime Achievement Award Winner. Previous recipients of this prestigious award have included Syd Mead, Wayne Cherry, Martin Smith, Robert Opron, Giorgetto Giugiaro, and Marcello Gandini.

For 2019, the cars competing for the Production Car of the Year Award are:

Aston Martin DBX, Byton M-Byte, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8), Honda e, Land Rover Defender, Lotus Evija, Mustang Mach-E, Polestar 2, Porsche Taycan, Volkswagen ID.3.
