Now, we are looking at a new landscape in car design with the seemingly irresistible rise of EV. You would be hard pushed to find an OEM that isn’t moving towards EV in some degree. Some car brands are of course moving faster than others and General Motors is one company that is fully seizing the EV initiative. At the tip of the spear is Cadillac – a brand known for innovation.
One of the oldest American brands it has been with us since 1902 and its tagline ’Standard of the World’ was a measure of the bar the company set itself from the beginning. In keeping with that spirit, the team recently launched the stunning Lyriq. The design team unpacks the inspirations, processes and goals for the svelte slice of American design.
