Larry Erickson拥有超过25年的汽车设计经验， 从早期前端设计到最终的产品发布，其工作涉及车辆的诸多方面。
Erickson在加州帕萨迪纳的艺术中心设计学院毕业之后，入职通用汽车任内外饰设计师，由此开启职业生涯。他于1999年加入福特汽车，担任欧洲及北美的首席设计师，参与多个项目，其中包括被MSN Autos 评为“史上十大最重要野马”之一并被彭博商业周刊誉为“过去20年来最重要的25大车款之一”的2005 Mustang。Erickson于2008至2011年领导创意设计学院（CCS）的交通工具系，在2017年加入麦格纳之前，任Rivian Automotive的设计总监。除量产车之外，Erickson还凭借对定制车和改装车的设计与构造而为汽车发烧友们所熟知。他以为ZZ Top的Billy Gibbons 所设计的定制卡迪拉克“Cadzzilla”而一举成名。Erickson是Automotive News全明星设计奖的得主，入围“National Rod and Custom Car Hall of Fame”并入驻“Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame”，同时也是美国汽车配件协会（SEMA）的前董事会成员。
