The new updates can increase design teams improve their workflows

The latest episode in the Autodesk Webinar series, 'What is new in Autodesk Alias v2014', took place on 17 September, but if you missed it you can listen to it here.

Participants saw how the latest release is focused on onboarding new users and enhancing the productivity of those experienced in Alias programs and could see areas that applied to them - designers experimenting with ideas, modelers refining designs, Class A surfacers delivering efficient controlled data and visualization experts developing stunning visualizations. All will provide added value throughout their company's design workflow.

Autodesk's Robin Oldroyd, technical specialist - Industrial Design and Visualization, presented the webinar.

Robin has worked for Autodesk since 2006 and during his career he's been strongly focused on Industrial design and visualization. Robin has an in-depth knowledge of solutions for creative design in Automotive, Transportation, and Consumer products and is currently a member of the Autodesk Design, Lifecycle and Simulation Group, which focuses on supporting the creative design customers and partners within Northern Europe and larger customers worldwide.

Before joining Autodesk, Robin worked for Alias holding various technical positions connected with the Automotive and Design industry and has a Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Teesside in Middlesborough, UK.
