Wood and Pickett Mini by Callum
As a reimagined version of the British icon, the Wood and Pickett Mini was built on a fully restored Mk5 Sportspack body shell specifically for automotive enthusiast David Gandy.
The transformed classic includes a newly designed dashboard that blends tactile ‘retro’ influence with modernity – seen by a small horizontal screen with focus instead on physical gauges. The carpet has been specifically chosen to improve the perceived quality of the cabin, and the seats benefit from the Callum trim.
It’s important to note that no two builds will be alike, with each customer working with Callum’s design team to create their perfect Mini.
“The Mini is one of the most important cars ever created not just for its innovative engineering, but for what it represents culturally as a symbol of British ingenuity and style. It’s a car that broke the rules and became a global icon. To reimagine it through the lens of Callum, with Wood and Pickett’s craftsmanship, has been deeply rewarding:” commented Ian Callum, design director at Callum.

Marcos rises again
The British sports car icon has plotted a triple comeback for the first time in two decades. Under owner Howard Nash, Marcos is firing up three projects: A reimagined classic, a road/track vehicle and continuation classics using original tooling and moulds.
With prototypes already running and heritage parts continuing to be sold through Marcos Heritage Spares, the reborn brand expertly combines original ethos with a forward-thinking approach.
Concept AMG GT XX revealed
The new concept from Mercedes is an interesting insight into what the brand hinted as a “forthcoming four-door series-production sports car.”
The exterior screams performance. At first glance, the low-slung bonnet, sharply raked windscreen and oval, concave front grille catch the eye. The long and low greenhouse features a double-bubble roof and the three windows on each side rest on muscular rear shoulders.
The dynamic nature of this concept is emphasised by the composition of the surfaces that shimmer in the light.
The interior is almost entirely immersed in black with stand-out silver and orange accents. There are two integrated screens in the cockpit, both angled towards the driver. Perhaps the most interesting element is the exposed extrusions of the body-in-white around the centre console with illuminated orange pipes – think high-voltage cables.
