Car Design News editor James McLachlan sits down with special guest Martin Groschwald, managing director of recruitment agency and consultancy Konzepthaus, to discuss the current state of car design, the initiation of brand differentation through design, and understanding the language of business.

Groschwald also suggests that car designers are uniquely positioned within companies, in that they must bring the ideas and visions of the engineering, production, marketing and sales teams together. “There is not really any other department that has a connection to every single department in the company,” he says. “Everything comes together in design… Not many people have realised the potential of this, and how they can influence decision making.”
