Laura has worked as a motoring journalist since 2006, after getting hooked on driving her silver E46-generation BMW 3 Series Coupe at the racetrack. Before that she was a television reporter and presenter covering news and technology in Silicon Valley. A California native, Laura lives in Los Angeles and – true to the stereotype – loves driving Pacific Coast Highway, keeping fit, and eating healthy. Although Laura rates her drawing ability at third-grade level, she is an avid design enthusiast and appreciates those with a highly evolved sense of aesthetics. Among her favourite vintage cars are the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, the Jaguar XK 120, the Ferrari 250 GT California Spider, the Aston Martin DB5, and the Porsche 906. Laura also writes for the Robb Report, the New York Post, Automobile, and Panorama (the official magazine of the Porsche Club of America).
